The flower of the Holy Spirit is the Panama´s national flower. It is a rare orchid as you can see.

This flower is found in El Valle de Anton, province of Cocle. Its scientific name is Peristeria Elata.  It´s terrestrial.  It blooms between july and October. You can find it near rivers and streams in a very humid environment. It is white (ivory) and seems to have a little dove in its center.  It is protected by the laws of the Republic of Panama.   During the El Valle Tour you can get lucky and see one of these exotic flowers.   Do not hesitate to call us:
